Modified Tee Ball (Modified Machine Pitch) Is an advanced level of Tee Ball that helps with the transition to Machine Pitch usually for players aged 6-7.
Modified Tee Ball players have three chances each at bat to hit a ball thrown by the machine, if a ball is not put in play following the three pitches the player then hits off of the Tee. The roster size for Modified Tee Ball teams is 7-10 players, with a season featuring 1 practice each week with two 3 inning games per week.
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this entry second level of Little League.
