There have been several requests for Kris's Cooperstown recipe for cleaning the clay out of white pants, here it is...
*Don't use on colored clothing
For a couple pairs of pants:
- Spray pants with pre-wash
- Fill a small bucket or trash can with 1-2 gallons of hot water, enough to cover pants
- Add 1/8 cup Bleach
- Add 1/8 cup White Brite Laundry additive (Walmart has it)
- Soak the pants for at least 1/2 hour, overnight if needed
- Dump the bucket in your washer with some regular laundry detergent and run the normal cycle.
